The Harris County Leadership Council is a 7-month learning program that offers participants an insider’s guide into the nitty-gritty of the political world. Participants are engaged in an all-out political program that will focus on topics such as, fundraising, campaigning, advocacy and more.
Our program begins in May and participants meet for seven different classes, on the third Saturday of each month, from May until December. Each meeting starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m., with light breakfast and networking to start at 8:30 a.m. Lunch is provided. Classes are held at the Harris County Republican Party Headquarters. Speakers for each session will be a leading expert in specific political fields who discuss current topics and explain how participants can get involved or use their expertise and connections to help them succeed on their next political endeavor. At the end of seven months, the class puts together an exciting capstone project to be determined by the fellows in the beginning months.
The Young Leadership Development Committee is excited to be offering such an amazing program and we hope you will consider being a part of it. Please RSVP by applying via the below link by May 15, 2016. The cost of the class is $100 and must be paid before the first class but is not required to register. The first class of the session will be on May 21, 2016.
