Judge Larry Standley, Harris County Criminal Court-at-Law No. 6Judge Larry Standley was elected judge of Harris County Criminal Court at law No. 6 in November 1998. His trial rulings have only been reversed on appeal one time. Before being elected Judge, Larry served as an accomplished Harris County prosecutor for fourteen years and specialized seeking justice in child abuse and white-collar fraud cases.

Judge Standley is a native of Houston, having graduated from Aldine High School, Lone Star College, Sam Houston State University and South Texas College of Law. The President of the State Bar of Texas appointed Standley, as a member of the State Bar's Victim's Right's Committee. For ten years he taught undergraduate criminal law at the University of Houston at Clear Lake.
