The BBC is staging an open public debate on the future of the United States at Zilkha Hall, The Hobby Center, Houston on the evening of Wednesday 6th November. It is lead entirely by questions from the audience and will be recorded and broadcast world-wide to the BBC World Service weekly audience of 97 million on 9th and 10th of November.
Tickets are issued on a first come first served basis. The BBC’s Jonny Dymond will chair the debate.
The panel includes:
- Lina Hidalgo (Democrat) County Judge, Harris County
- Randy Weber (Republican) Member of the US House of Representatives
- Joan Huffman (Republican) Member of the Texas Senate
- Joaquin Castro (Democrat) Member of the US House of Representatives
