Job Overview:

The Outreach Director must be a highly motivated individual with political experience engaging diverse communities beyond the Republican base. This individual must have strong organizational and communication skills (written and oral), be able to execute a strategic plan and manage various deadlines, and bring creativity in ways to expand the Republican base. The Outreach Director will also be responsible for organizing precinct and senate district conventions. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with HCRP leadership, staff, and HCRP Engagement Committee.
• Identify opportunities for engagement and outreach within the community and develop strategies to maximize swaying persuadable voters from diverse communities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, elected officials, interest groups, and other organizations.
• Oversee HCRP engagement and outreach events, including developing and overseeing event budgets.
• In conjunction with Grassroots Director, develop and oversee a voter registration program.
• Ability to work cooperatively with various individuals in a team environment with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Work closely with HCRP Convention Committee and SD Chairs to coordinate the 2024 Conventions, including budgetary oversight.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the management of volunteers.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project management skills and ability to work within statutory deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Written and oral fluency in Spanish is highly desirable.
