What: The Fall of Saigon Memorial Service

Why: The Vietnamese Community of Houston and Vicinities (VNCH,) representing 150,000 Vietnamese American living in Houston and Vicinities, would like to invite you to The Fall of Saigon Memorial Service to commemorate 58,220 U.S Service members , millions of Vietnamese Service Members, and civilians who died during the Vietnam War in addition to tens of thousands more died at sea while escaping communist after the war.
Agenda:
5:00 People will start to gather. Good time to outreach, passing out your flyers.
6:00 Memorial Service, speakers..US Rep Al Green (democrat) and State Rep Hubert Vo (Democrat) will be there. NO Republican elected official has yet accepted to speak( 3 minute speeches). We need our elected officials to attend and be on stage.
Political rally, Live music entertainment, fighting for Human rights in Vietnam.
This event focuses on the sacrifices of US and South Vietnam Service Members during the Vietnam War , the thousands of Boat people who died at sea while searching for FREEDOM, and remembering that many Vietnamese have limited human rights in Vietnam.
