We are delighted to introduce Dennis Paul, the HD Representative and candidate for the SD 11 Senate seat, as well as our special guest speaker, Kelly Hancock, who is currently serving as the acting Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.

Representative Paul is vying for the position being vacated by Senator Mayes Middleton, who has chosen not to seek reelection in order to pursue a run for attorney general.

Hancock, representing Fort Worth, resigned from the Senate prior to his appointment as the chief clerk of the Texas Comptroller’s office in June. He officially took on the role of acting comptroller in July, following Glenn Hegar’s transition to chancellor of the Texas A&M University System.
