Vote Actively Meeting

Are you ready to meet some of the most amazing people in your community? On Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 6:30PM to 8PM, we’re inviting you to our opening event of the year at Bayou Heights Bier Garten 3905 Washington Avenue, Houston, Texas 77007. Our previous announcement had the wrong address, so please be aware of the correction. It is on Washington Avenue, not Houston Avenue.

Come learn what Vote Actively has in store for 2023. This year, our events will feature YOU as the guest speaker, so start developing your presentation! This is your chance to let your voice be heard, so come Tuesday to learn all about it.

In addition, this event is an opportunity for you to connect with the people who keep our city safe and secure. You’ll have the chance to chat with local law enforcement officers, learn about the resources and services they provide, and ask questions about their work in our community.

Doors open at 6:00PM, and the program begins at 6:30PM. Bring a friend, enjoy a meal, and please tip your waiters well.

We will begin our program with a prayer and the pledges of allegiance to our great Texas Flag and the United States Flag. I will then introduce any new faces and make a few announcements. Following that, Sgt Tracy Hicks with the HPD Auto Theft Crime Tasks Force provides tips on how to keep you from being a victim including things you can do to protect your property. We will end with some Q & A and a few closing remarks.
