Mike Knox, Willie Davis, Michael Kubosh, Anthony Dolcefino, Eric Dick, and Amy Peck Receive Republican Backing
HOUSTON, November 12, 2019 – The Harris County Republican Party announced today that it has endorsed the following Houston City Council candidates in the upcoming runoff elections: Mike Knox in At-Large #1, Willie Davis in At-Large #2, Michael Kubosh in At-Large #3, Anthony Dolcefino in At-Large #4, Eric Dick in At-Large #5, and Amy Peck in District A. The election will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019, with early voting beginning on Wednesday, November 27, 2019.
"...the City of Houston is in desperate need of common sense, fiscally conservative leadership that will focus on core services like public safety, streets, and drainage and that will take on the special interests at City Hall," the resolution reads. "...each of these At-Large City Council races features a clear choice between the failed leadership of the status-quo at Houston City Hall and a fiscally responsible alternative who will oppose higher taxes and wasteful spending, stand up for our first responders and fight to make sure Houstonians get the services they pay for...."
An additional resolution endorsing Amy Peck for City Council District A states,"...Amy Peck has earned the trust and support of civic and neighborhood leaders in District A because of her tireless work on flood prevention and attention to detail for the residents of District A while serving in the City Council office of Council Member Brenda Stardig...."
