Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and politically savvy individual to fill the role of Field Representative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing Harris County GOP in the field, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and advocating for our platform and policies. Salary depends on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Precinct Chairs. 
• Organize and attend events, including block walks, committee meetings, and trainings.
• Manage volunteers and interns.
• Identify opportunities for engagement and outreach within the community and develop strategies to maximize our impact.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, elected officials, interest groups, and other organizations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in political science, public policy, or related field preferred.
• 1-2 years experience in political organizing, community outreach, or advocacy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of local political landscape and issues.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Access to a car and a valid driver’s license.
• Bilingual.
