primary election INFORMATION

The first day to file to be on the primary ballot is Saturday, November 11, 2023. Harris County GOP HQ will be open from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM to accept and notarize applications. Afterwards, candidates can file Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM at Harris County GOP HQ.

The last day to file is December 11, 2023 by 6:00 PM.

Ballot Draw will be done Wednesday, December 20th at 5:30 PM at Harris County GOP HQ in the large downstairs conference room.

HOUSTON — Last night, the Texas Rangers issued five new search warrants to continue investigating the bid-rigging scandal perpetrated by County Judge Lina Hidalgo’s office. Over a year ago, it came to light that senior staff, including Judge Hidalgo’s chief of staff, allegedly rewarded an inexperienced, one-person Democrat consulting firm an $11 million contract in an apparent act of political favoritism at the cost of Harris County taxpayers.
