476 days until Election Day 2022…
It may seem like the general election on November 1, 2022 is far away. However, the clock is ticking.
Although HCRP has done a lot since January, there is still so much more to do if we are to be successful this November and November 1, 2022.
Yesterday I was reading the cartoons (which I occasionally do). Snoopy (aka Peanuts) is playing tennis and says,“Rats! I should’ve had that point and I should’ve had that game and I should’ve had that set…Unfortunately, we’re not playing “should’ves”!”
Come November 2022 – we cannot afford to be the party of “should’ves”. We need to be the party that did whatever it took to get us over the finish line and to elect Republicans to office. That is why the work that you are doing as a precinct chair is so critical to the success of our party! We are in a fight and that fight is taking place in your precinct.
We have a lot going on this weekend from block walking to a judicial signing party on Saturday. Check out below and our social media for information on both.
Also, I want to introduce Julie Hunt. A generous donation was made for ballot security that allowed us to hire Julie as our first election recruiter. Julie is a life-long Republican and was a big supporter of President Trump. She is passionate about ensuring that we have secure elections that protects the integrity of each of our votes. Julie decided after what she saw in November’s elections – that she could no longer just vote. So, Julie became a new precinct chair in May. Drop by the office and introduce yourself to Julie.
We are in a fight – a fight for Harris County, a fight for our country and a fight for our freedoms! This is a fight that we cannot win without your help!
Warm Regards,
Cindy Siegel
Chairman
Harris County Republican Party
Training & Development Committee Events
Ground Fire
Ground Fire is a Training & Development Committee Program for “in-the-precinct / on-the-job” training, where we canvass precincts for precinct chairs and volunteers, teaching new precinct chairs some of the best practices, processes and lessons learned. This is a great opportunity to learn, and at the same time build our base, our ground game and help Republicans win again.
Precinct 0332 is the center of the targeted area. It is a strong democrat precinct (Average: 83% Democrat). So, the goal is to focus on the limited republican doors. This will require driving since the few republicans likely do not live on the same street. We will begin at a to-be-announced location at 9:30AM, for assignments (we will group in pairs) and instructions and begin canvassing at 10AM. We target completion by 2PM latest and will have a to-be-announced meetup location, possibly a late lunch, for an after-action review and improvement discussion.
