A quick update…
Our party’s work continues with a lot going on. Last week I met with SD 11’s precinct chairs. Then I had the opportunity on Friday to attend SD 7’s fun get-together that SD 7 James Buntrock hosted. Tonight I will be attending SD 17’s quarterly meeting hosted by SD 17 Chair Mary Sergesketter with Senator Joan Huffman giving a legislative update.
Our voter registration project will start this week. We need volunteers to do phone banking. There will be a training session this Friday at headquarters at 10am if you are interested.
There will be a Training and Development Committee block walk on Saturday, July 17th for new (and old) precinct chairs.
In regard to the next Executive Committee meeting – we have set it for Monday, September 20. We did this because it will be right after filing season starts. We will have filing information and notaries at this meeting, so that we can make it as seamless as possible for you to file to run for precinct chair.
Lastly, we need everyone’s help in recruiting Republican candidates to run for office. This includes running for school board this November (includes HISD, Klein, Cy-Fair, and others in the county) and for the November 2022 election.
We continue to hit hard on two central issues on all social media platforms – the increase in crime and the teaching of Critical Race Theory in our schools. But, raising the awareness of how the Democrats have hurt the safety of our neighborhoods and the education of our children with their leftist progressive policies will not help us win elections if we do not have a full slate of conservative candidates this fall and in 2022. That is why we need your help! Talk to your neighbors and friends. Consider running for office yourself.

Training & Development Committee Events
Ground Fire
Ground Fire is a Training & Development Committee Program for “in-the-precinct / on-the-job” training, where we canvass precincts for precinct chairs and volunteers, teaching new precinct chairs some of the best practices, processes and lessons learned. This is a great opportunity to learn, and at the same time build our base, our ground game and help Republicans win again.
Precinct 0332 is the center of the targeted area. It is a strong democrat precinct (Average: 83% Democrat). So, the goal is to focus on the limited republican doors. This will require driving since the few republicans likely do not live on the same street. We will begin at a to-be-announced location at 9:30AM, for assignments (we will group in pairs) and instructions and begin canvassing at 10AM. We target completion by 2PM latest and will have a to-be-announced meetup location, possibly a late lunch, for an after-action review and improvement discussion.
